ABOUT US

 

Dance Ensemble is one of the student-led dance clubs on campus at Fairfield University.  We are a group of girls and guys that have a passion for dance and wish to continue our interests throughout college.  Auditions are held at the beginning of the year in the genres of tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and irish step dancing.  Two dances are taught throughout the year (one in the Fall Semester and one in the Spring) and classes are held once a week per genre.  Our annual showcase is performed in the Regina A. Auditions

What are we looking for?  Anyone who loves to dance!  We are interested in individuals who have a basic knowledge in dance, can pick up choreography, and enjoy performing. It does not matter how long (or how little) you have been dancing for, as long as you exibit an ability to dance.  We strongly encourage anyone with an interest in dance to come to auditions!  And be sure to look out for more information regarding auditions at the start of the school year!
